Our Mission
Liberation Art Gallery is Brighton's first clinically informed not-for-profit gallery. Since 2022, we've championed over 500 underrepresented artists, provided free creative workshops and delivered therapeutic programs that make a real difference in our community.
We are now inviting sponsors to join us in this mission. Your support helps us:
-
Keep workshops and gallery events free and accessible
-
Support emerging, unique, eclectic and socially engaged artists
-
Run programs that improve mental well-being in our city
By partnering with us, you or your organisation demonstrate a commitment to art, creative and social impact, whilst gaining recognition on a vibrant and ethical space.
Every exhibition, workshop and programme we run is driven by one belief: that access to creativity should never be a privilege.

The Impact of Your Donation
Every contribution, no matter the size, directly supports creative access and therapeutic impact:
-
£5 helps provide essential art materials for a free community workshop, giving someone the chance to create, express and connect.
-
£25 funds a place for an individual to attend a free creative wellbeing session, supporting relaxation, confidence and emotional expression.
-
£50 supports an emerging or underrepresented artist by contributing to exhibition costs, materials and professional development opportunities.
-
£100 helps deliver a full therapeutic creative session, supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges through clinically informed art practice.
-
£250 enables us to run a free community workshop for a group, removing financial barriers and creating safe, inclusive creative spaces.
-
£1,000 helps sustain an entire programme, supporting multiple artists, facilitators and participants while keeping exhibitions and workshops accessible to all.

Impact

“If the schools’ national curriculum could be 50% just doing this kind of work, it would be 100% more
successful in teaching our young people to thrive in this difficult world they’re inheriting.”

“Having recently being diagnosed with ADHD, I think it was helpful
for him to engage with a professional artist who has the same condition.”

“It was very experimental using such different materials and having the chance too especially with artists that are professional in their different medias.”
