The creative process is the catalyst for self-realisation.

I started creating this form of art as a form of escapism from an environment forced upon me.

The creative process is the catalyst for self-realisation.

The aspect that I find most liberating is when the work is finished and those aspects of myself and emotions are represented in colour and form.

My creative style has been described by some as a mixture of abstract expression, surrealism, metaphysic and symbolism. I feel that it is progressive, deeply layered, with social and sometimes geopolitical undertones. I feel that my work contains personal observations about life in general as well as the profundities of the human conscious and subconscious state. Some of my work has been described as dark, edgy, boarding on the macabre, an exploration of the primitive, intuitive human condition. I call some of my work “emotional mechanics”.
